KIRAC 23: Honeypot (dir. Stefan Ruitenbeek, 2022)

Keeping It Real Art Critics is a notorious Dutch collective, known for its field documentaries, including an episode in which Michel Houellebecq has sex with various women, but which the French author had blocked from release in court. A surreal conflict worth following. Until we get to see it, Honeypot is the one to see. Since it would take me too long to explain precisely why this film is such a thorny marvel, I will leave its description here:

The film explores the hopes and illusions of young art students coming of age in a world that is saying goodbye to the enlightenment and its values; about the cheerful anticipation with which they face the possibilities of a setting sun.
